Purpose of data processing

This section contains information on how the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale Delle Ricerche) manages and processes user data.

The use of DISI, requires personal data (name, surname, age, e-mail address): we inform you that not providing the requested data may make it impossible to achieve the purposes to which the process is connected.

The use of DISI requires the storing of connection data (IP addresses, date and time of connection), as required by current legislation.

Finally, DISI stores the activities carried out by the user within the app (exercises carried out; answers given; etc.).

Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, we inform you that the processing of personal data carried out through the app relates exclusively to personal data acquired in relation to the achievement of the institutional purposes of the CNR, or otherwise related to the exercise of tasks of public interest and the exercise of public authority to which it is called, including the purposes of scientific research and analysis for statistical purposes, education and administration, pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter. e) and, in particular, in order to provide and improve the services offered by the app.

Such personal data are processed in a lawful, correct, relevant, transparent manner, limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing, for the only time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in any case in accordance with the principles set out in art. 5 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

The processing of data will be carried out by means of computer and telematic tools, with methods of organization and processing of data, related to the purposes indicated above and, in any case, in such a way as to ensure confidentiality and integrity; special security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

The data itself may be communicated to the project partners:

which will ensure the processing of data in accordance with current legislation, and whose responsibilities fall directly on its owners and / or managers.

The data processed will NOT be disclosed, unless they have been anonymized, so as to make it impossible to identify the person.

 

Rights of the interested parties

Data subjects have the right to request the data controller to access and rectify or erase their personal data or to limit the processing of their personal data, or to object to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the provisions of art. 15 et seq. of EU Regulation 2016/679.

The interested party has the right to submit his request to the Data Controller. The interested parties, if the conditions are met, are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor as supervisory authority.

Pursuant to Regulation 2016/679, the Data Controller is the CNR - National Research Council with registered office in Rome, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, 00185 Rome, Italy.

Pursuant to Reg. 2016/679, the Institute for Educational Technologies of the CNR of Palermo is responsible for the processing of personal data.

Pursuant to Articles 37 et seq. of the aforementioned Regulation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of data, the CNR by order 46/2018 of 21/05/2018 has designated the Data Protection Officer (DPO or DPD), email:  rpd@cnr.it.
